John J. Frank - Galloway, NJ

John "Jack" Frank was called home to be with the Lord on Febraury 16, 2023, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and attended St. Dominicks School and Lincoln High School,

He joined the Marine Corps in 1954 where he was stationed at Parris Island. He then reported to the 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune as a light machine gunner. During the next two years he was deployed twice to Viequez Island Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic, and Havana Cuba, After two years he was sent to the Naval Power Factory in Indian Head, Maryland. After being honorably discharged in 1957 he went on to work at Pennwalt Corporation in Bensalem Pennsylvania, and retired as the electrician there after 41 years.

Jack was a resident of Willingboro, New Jersey, for 35 years and attended The First Baptist Church in Willingboro and The First Baptist Church in Burlington New Jersey. He was the head football coach for the Garfield Giants from 1971-1975 in the Willingboro Inter-Park League. He retired to Galloway, New Jersey in 2002. Jack enjoyed playing tennis, softball, table tennis, refinishing antique furniture, fixing old clocks, and vacationing with family in Ocean City, New Jersey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Heather; sister, Katheleen Slopey; sons, Jeffery (Deborah), David (Sarah), and John; granddaughters, Michelle Lopresti (Joe), and Ashleigh Charette (Ryan); grandsons, Julian and Jeremy; and great-grandchildren, Jenna, Joey, and Colin.
