John Wayne Parker, 69, of Jefferson, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2025.
John was born August 25, 1956, in Vivian, Louisiana, to George and Mildred Parker. He lived in this area all his life and worked as an electrician. He was a member of Trees Baptist Church and was an ordained pastor. John was a hard worker and was part-owner of Parker Bros Electric. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred Parker; his son, Chris Parker; and sister, Elizabeth Louise Parker Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jo Jo Parker of Jefferson, Texas, and his brothers, George Michael Parker, Sam L. Parker and wife, Peggy Allen Parker, and Rickey Parker and wife, Reba. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kyler and Zowie Parker, and several nieces and nephews.
