Chronic malnutrition can have irreversible effects on a child’s physical and cognitive development, which can make learning difficult. Milk & Nutrition Projects

Milk & Nutrition Projects

We assist with the nutritional needs of children in orphanages, daycare centers, schools, and hospitals. We generally purchase our supplies, including milk, in the countries where we work in order to minimize transportation costs and support the local economy. Young children are the most vulnerable. Treating with a nutrient rich, high-fat, fortified peanut paste called Plumpy’Nut, over several months is a way to rehabilitate children from acute malnutrition. More
