The Sounds of Operation Christmas Child

Hear 'Angels We Have Heard on High' like never before!

Operation Christmas Child brings good news and great joy to children all over the world through simple gifts. People like you pack shoeboxes with a “wow” toy (such as a doll, stuffed animal, or soccer ball with pump), school supplies, hygiene items, and other gifts, sending them off with prayer that God would bless a child in need.

Pack a Shoebox and Find a Drop-off Location Near You

Every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ. A Gospel booklet in the child’s language accompanies every shoebox gift, and many boys and girls go on to participate in our follow-up discipleship program, The Greatest Journey.

Remembering when she received her shoebox gift, 12-year-old Yeimy Carvaja of Colombia said, “Ever since that day, I don’t feel as lonely anymore. I can feel God’s company. Although we have many problems in our house, I know now that I have a best friend, which is my Father God. I have felt a lot of peace and happiness in my life because of Him.”

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has collected and delivered more than 124 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 150 countries and territories through Operation Christmas Child. Join the fun and learn how to pack a shoebox.
