Support Disciple Makers

We invite you to pray for teachers of The Greatest Journey discipleship program who are helping children around the world to know and to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. As boys and girls learn to tell friends and family about Him, communities are changing and churches are growing.
More than 2.2 million local church volunteers across the globe have been trained by Samaritan's Purse to teach The Greatest Journey to boys and girls in their area who have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift. These faithful servants are teaching millions of children 12 dynamic Bible lessons on how to know, grow in, and share Jesus. All of this is done for just $6 a child, which includes a colorful workbook, graduation certificate, and copy of the New Testament in their language. Please pray that these teachers will continue to pour into boys and girls for the sake of the Gospel!

Meet Two of the Millions of Teachers
Bolivar Santos teaches The Greatest Journey in the Central American country of Panama. When one of his students, Maykel, fell ill with leukemia, he was transferred to a hospital located hours away in the capital. Santos continued the 12 Bible lessons with Maykel via video call or personal visit, so the boy—the first Christian in his family—could continue to grow in knowing, following, and sharing Jesus. In answer to many prayers, Maykel miraculously recovered and led his parents to the Lord. Today, he teaches The Greatest Journey discipleship course to other boys and girls.
