Decisions for Christ During The Greatest Journey
Since 1993, more than 220 million shoebox recipients in over 170 countries and territories have heard the Gospel through Operation Christmas Child! One of those recipients was a girl named Tsholofelo. She and her family followed African folk religion. A few years ago, a local church invited her to an Operation Christmas Child outreach event where she received her very own shoebox gift filled with a yellow stuffed animal, a doll, a pair of shoes, and some pens and pencils. She not only rejoiced over her gift, but also heard the Gospel and accepted Jesus as her Savior! Tsholofelo learned more about what it meant to follow Him as she attended The Greatest Journey classes taught in her community. She soon shared John 3:16 with her friend Peniel, who also gave her life to Christ. Peniel, in turn, told Laone about Jesus and now she follows Him, too! The influence of one simple shoebox gift continues to multiply as these friends share their faith with others.
Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts lead to evangelism, discipleship, and the multiplication of believers and churches all around the world—and it all starts with you!
